LECTURES
Week 1
Dr. Hayati briefed us on the entire module following the MIB prepared in the first week. Dr. Hayati also recommended us to complete the dissertation structure as a motivating technique. Besides, Dr. Hayati also asked us to work on literature review matrix.
Week 2
Dr. Hayati next instructed us on how to do a literature review. We need revise the articles we studied in the research design methodology module. She stated that the literature review matrix can also be used to summarise and analyse the articles.
Week 3
Dr. Hayati supplied us with additional examples of literature reviews and taught us about dissertation methodology writing. Finally, she provided us with individual feedback on our writing progress.
Week 4
Public Holiday
Week 5
Dr. Hayati taught us the discussion section this week. She also stated that for some of the students, this is the most challenging part. We would need to construct an outline for the discussion, defining the issues, organising the arguments, and determining how the obtained data could support the findings.

The resources provided by Dr. Hayati covered the conclusion, abstract, and introduction. With that, we are required to complete the draft dissertation this week.

Week 1
General:
Dr. Hayati said that we could refer to MIB for the structure as planning the structure could use to motivate yourself. Besides, we should check google classroom for weekly updates.

Week 2
Specific:
IDr. Hayati said that is acceptable, to begin with the content of a mobile food delivery application (reverse with UI/UX design). It must also incorporate UI/UX design into the content. eg: The impact of UI/UX design on the content of food delivery applications. Besides, I should compare and contrast the similarities and differences between the articles as well as reflect on the question “WHY?”.
Week 3
Specific:
Dr. Hayati said that I need to reflect more, and can refer to the table “how to evaluate the literature” from the notes given. Besides, she also said that my review now is very briefly described, there should be more added examples.
Week 5
Specific:
Dr. Hayati said that observational studies would be a qualitative method as there is no data to be quantified. I can state there is an error answer for the question that is not answered by the respondent correctly. Besides, I need to display and analyze all the results and need to be consistent throughout the research to avoid manipulation. I could also revise my findings during the process as long as it is not biased. For the reflection sheet, I need to describe what I have done every week. For the discussion section, I need to reflect on both findings from the mixed methods.
Week 7
Dr. Hayati advised me that in the brief, I need to explain how I divide the sections for discussion.
I would need to label the figures and tables.
REFLECTION
This is definitely not my thing, as I hate writing. This assignment has been the most difficult for me because I am juggling to handle 5 modules at the same time. I tried my best to complete the whole draft dissertation. I feel like it is not that good due to time constraints, and I hope I could still revise after that. I found out that abstract writing is the most challenging part as I would need to summarise the whole dissertation in short paragraphs and it took me a long time to figure the sentences out.
